2. Media attention. Once announced, JDA winners receive media interest, from the public and industry professionals, opening doors and catalyzing conversations to support product development and networking;
3. Support for past winners. This year the award has created a network of winners for those who bring their inventions to market. Events and networking opportunities for past award winners to connect, share experiences and consider mentoring programs among winners.
James Dyson, Founder and Chief Engineer Dyson said:
“For me the importance of the James Dyson Award lies in solving a problem in an intelligent way – for young inventors, however, it means questioning and challenging the status quo. I firmly believe that young people want to change the world and should be encouraged in this. The future is their world. The Award gives them confidence and a platform to develop their solutions. In fact, 70% of our international winners bring their inventions to the market. I address the future participants, saying that I am looking forward to examining their radical and revolutionary ideas. Good luck!”
To register, simply fill out the form on the official website of the initiative no later than 6 July 2022.
