The actor Kevin Conroy, known for playing and voicing Batman in various animated TV shows, movies and video games, has passed away at the age of 66. The confirmation came in these hours from Warner Bros.
Conroy’s first time as Bruce Wayne was in 1992, where he voiced the character in Batman: The Animated Series, which ran until 1995. His voice has become so popular with Batman fans that the actor he was recalled for several other productions. In fact, he is the voice of the Dark Knight in the video games Arkham Knight and Arkham City. In 2019 he also appeared in an episode of Batwoman.
The news of the death was released today by the actress Diane Pershingwho played Poison Ivy in Batman: The Animated Series.
“Very sad news: our beloved Batman voice, Kevin Conroy, died yesterday,” wrote Diane Pershing on Facebook. “He has been sick for a while, but he has always devoted a lot of time to meeting fans, to the delight of the spectators. He will be greatly missed not only by the cast of the series, but also by fans around the world ”.

“He was one of my favorite people on the planet and I loved him like a brother. She really cared about the people around him: her passion for her shone in everything she did. Every time I saw him or talked to him I felt better ”.
