Apple announced the arrival of the app Oceanic+ are Apple Watch Ultra, its new ultra-rugged smartwatch. With this new function, it will be able to act as a wrist computer for divers up to 40 meters underwater.

Apple announced the new app Oceanic+, designed to take underwater exploration with Apple Watch Ultra to another level. In fact, if the Apple already offers some basic readings in the Depth app (depth, water temperature and duration of the dive), with Oceanic+ takes them to another level.
In fact, the application indicates, in addition to all the basic readings, also the decompression time, ascent and descent speed. And very many other statistics to help you safely track your underwater excursion.

Furthermore, Oceanic+ offers color-coded warnings to make your descent safer, warns you of too-rapid ascents, and offers other safety guides.
Among other features, also i tactile feedback and watch faces to monitor your ascent safely. There is also the quick button to quickly return to the Oceanic+ app, if you’ve been using your Watch Ultra for something else.
You can download the app from the App Store. Requires Watch Ultra and update watchOS 9.1, but also an iPhone 8 or higher with iOS 16.1. The free plan includes several features, but you will need to pay for a subscription to get the advanced features $9.99/month or $79.99/year.
An application designed for enthusiasts, who are trained and respectful of safety protocols for diving. But that they can find a companion in this software.
