The new trailer for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which is expected to be released on April 5, 2022 for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC consoles. According to what the developers reported, this is the LEGO Star Wars game largest and most visually striking ever made.
The trailer offers an in-depth look at the gameplay and freedom that players will enjoy, and showcases the new combat mechanics, the wide range of characters and their classes, the vast galaxy to explore, and much more! In classic LEGO spirit, players will relive the mythical story of all nine Skywalker Saga films. It all starts by choosing the trilogy from which you prefer to start the journey.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga allows you to experience battles like never before seen in a LEGO game: players can chain multiple attacks to form combos and repel attacks. New blaster controls and new mechanics allow players to aim accurately and take cover to study their next move, or harness their Jedi abilities by wielding a lightsaber and using the Force.
In addition, the trailer reveals the grumbling mode, an option that fans of classic LEGO Star Wars games can activate to replace all voices with indistinct grumbles.
On board the Millennium Falcon to destroy enemy ships
Players can venture into space using the galaxy map on the holoprojector to chart their path in the saga, progressively unlocking planets to explore. On their space travel, they will take part in heroic battles against enemy ships in command of legendary vehicles such as the Millennium Falcon, Imperial TIE fighters, Rebel X-wings and many more. Once they arrive at their destination, they can choose to advance through the main story or to explore and uncover exciting side quests and puzzles across the galaxy.
Players who explore are rewarded with Kyber Bricks, which unlock new features and improved abilities in a variety of character classes, including Jedi, Hero, Dark Side, Villain, Junk Merchant, Rogue, Bounty Hunter, Astromech Droid, and Protocol Droid. You will be able to play legendary heroes such as Leia, Yoda, Boba Fett, Darth Maul and Poe. But that’s not all: there will be more than three hundred other unlockable characters from all nine films. From the idyllic green hills of Naboo to the desert dunes of Jakku, you’ll have the entire LEGO Star Wars galaxy at your disposal to explore and play.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga you can already book digitally. Players who pre-order digitally will receive early access to the “Trooper” Character Pack on launch day. The pack will be available for one month from launch for those who purchase the Character Collection (the Season Pass with all seven Character Packs) or individually. Buyers of the digital version of the game can also unlock the classic playable Obi-Wan Kenobi character, which is not available for individual purchase. The physical version of the Deluxe Edition will also include an exclusive LEGO Star Wars minifigure: Luke Skywalker with blue milk.
