Lenovo launches the initiative, in collaboration with Island Conservation and the Robinson Crusoe Island community Work for Humankind. The project aims to send volunteers from around the world to contribute to the well-being of the local community, working from one of the most remote offices in the world using Lenovo technology.
Lenovo introduces Work for Humankind initiative
Volunteers who want to participate in the project Work for Humankind di Lenovo they will be selected on the basis of skills, background and specializations. The island will rely on high speed internet connectivity. The project involves the development of an infrastructure to increase the Internet bandwidth to at least 10 Mbps. Lenovo also made a global study showing how four out of five people between the ages of 18 and 40 underline how working from anywhere is beneficial for society, the community, employers and employees. According to 91% of Millennials, it is important to stimulate the local economy in a “Work from Anywhere” way.
