On the occasion of IFA 2023the most important European consumer electronics fair opening today in Berlin, LG Electronics (LG) will tell its vision for a sustainable and conscious lifestyle within its stand, LG Sustainable Villageinspired by the concept “Sustainable Life, Joy for All”.

Il Sustainable Village it was created based on some key elements of the company’s ESG strategy including environmental responsibility: the stand was in fact built with eco-responsible materials including recycled and reusable materials to minimize the impact of the structure.

Visitors to the show will discover LG’s sustainable smart home solutions such as lo Smart Cottage, an example of a prefabricated house that integrates LG energy-efficient solutions including the LG THERMA V R290 air-water heat pump, the ESS storage system (powered by 4 kilowatt solar panels mounted on the roof); the LG WashTower Compact dishwasher and dryer combo; the built-in oven, the QuadWash dishwasher, the induction hob and the water purifier.

Net-Zero Vision House: this is how LG focuses on sustainable living

Visitors to the fair will be able to better understand how the energy management system works within the area “Net-Zero Vision House” showing how LG’s Energy Storage System (ESS) adapts to various energy usage scenarios and conditions, which processes it uses to store energy, and how simple it is to monitor energy accumulation and consumption via the ThinQ app.

L’area Upcycling Workshop

L’area Upcycling Workshop allows you to learn more about LG’s commitment to recycling: in fact, this area displays various products made with recycled plastic, including the LG PuriCare AeroFurniture air purifier and the LG Styler ShoeCase and ShoeCare solutions for shoe care. Furthermore, visitors will be able to participate in workshops to discover LG’s recycling initiatives.

The stand will also feature new technological solutions that aim to promote accessibility: l’area ThinQ Homein fact, allows you to discover the Universal UP Kit, which includes a collection of accessories that can be integrated into LG appliances to make their use easier and more convenient for everyone, regardless of age or disability.

The area dedicated to the premium brand of LG, LG SIGNATURE, the second generation home appliances collection of the brand that includes the energy-efficient heat pump washer-dryer and the Dual InstaView refrigerator, which features InstaView technology on both doors, allowing users to see inside without the need to open the refrigerator.

In addition, visitors will be able to discover the brand new MoodUP combined refrigerator and the InstaView MoodUP combined refrigerator. Models with MoodUP technology allow you to customize the color of the refrigerator doors thanks to the LEDs integrated in the doors: you can change the color according to your mood, furnishing style or by combining it with the music played by the integrated speakers, simply by using the app LG ThinQ.

Finally, LG will also exhibit the new collection of built-in appliances dedicated to the European market, which made its debut in Italy in preview at the end of June. The new collection includes the InstaView oven, QuadWash dishwasher, refrigerator and induction cooktop.
