The new UNI FAN SL V2 now offers the possibility of cascade up to two clusters on a single hub port. Lian Li’s UNI FAN SL V2 can sequentially connect up to 6 fans, divided into 2 clusters, to a single hub port. This is possible thanks to a new connection cable included in pack of 3. The new solution adopted reduces the number of cables needed to power 2 clusters and allows the new light effects to be continuous between them. Also, the connection between the cluster and the controller is now a single thin cable combines PWM and ARGB signal strength. The cable itself has a redesigned connector on the fan frame with a header located inside the fan to create a continuous and flexible connection for the best possible aesthetic.
The new model features a 28mm thicker frame resulting in a 10% increase in airflow performance compared to the previous one. With speeds ranging from 0, 250 a 2000 RPMSL V2 can achieve i 2.59 mmH2O of static pressure and 64.5 CFM of air flow at low noise levels of 29.2 dBA max. The 140mm version allows users to reach speeds of 0, 250-1600 RPM with one static pressure of 2.09mmH2O, an airflow of 77.6 CFM and noise levels of 29 dBA max.
The new variant comes with some improvements to L-Connect 3. Starting with the SL V2 page, they are available 4 new light effects and 5 new merge light effects. On the settings page, users have the option to configure their own merged clusters. From there, they can select the number of fans connected together, rename the clusters, and rearrange the order so that the new merged lighting effects appear seamless in the computer case. Finally, on the Fan / Pump Profile page, the fan curve diagram has been changed to set RPM speed values in real time instead of percentage for a more intuitive fan speed profile.
These new models are available on the NewEgg store at the recommended price of € 26.99 for the single 120 mm versionwhile 89,99 € for the pack with triple 120mm fan.
