What materials are needed? | Lies of P: How to Improve Weapons
To improve weapons in Lies of P you will need two things specifically: Ergo the various types of Moonstones. Getting Ergo is quite simple: you can simply kill opponents or find it scattered around the world in the form of Fragments. Bosses and mini-Bosses drop higher value shards, which will give you more echo. The first upgrade requires 200 Ergo, the second 230 Ergo and the third 260 Ergo. It goes up gradually, with the fourth asking you for 320 Ergo and then raising the figure even more (nothing ever insurmountable though, don’t worry, maybe keep a few fragments aside for emergencies).
As for the stones, however, this material will be a little more difficult to find than the Ergo. They too are scattered throughout Krat and are well hidden around the various environments. You will therefore have to explore the maps in every nook and cranny, open every chest and turn every corner to find enough. You will find the first at the entrance to Hotel Krat, in the eastern part of the courtyard that surrounds it.

You won’t be able to improve your weapons from the beginning of the game, but you will have to complete the first section and get to Hotel Krat to do so. Once inside the Hotel, you will finally meet an NPC called Eugenie, the real blacksmith of Lies of P, who will take care of improving your weapons. You can find it in the eastern part of the entrance, to the right of the Stargazer in the area. He can also alter the scaling of your weapons on various characteristics, to make them more suitable for your build, or assemble and disassemble the weapons you own. Talk to her and select Improve Weapons. Then choose the weapon to improve and confirm afterwards. If you do not have the materials required to upgrade, the game will notify you on the screen.
