Eidos-Montréal has released a new video of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy starring the space dog Cosmo, the Guardians and a horde of adorable pups. In the cutscene, set at his base on Knowhere, Cosmo chases his tail, plays at fetching objects, and growls menacingly at Rocket, all while trying to unravel the latest intergalactic mysteries alongside Star-Lord.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: here’s the trailer for Cosmo
A good puppy, Cosmo is a former Soviet space dog who currently holds the roles of Knowhere’s security chief and father of a litter of Russian space dogs. Thanks to his psychic and telepathic abilities that allow him to communicate with humans, raccoons and trees, Cosmo will be a precious ally for the Guardians during their travels in the darkest and deepest corners of space.
The title focusing on the adventures of the Guardians of the Galaxy is configured as single player action adventure genre video game, which aims to bring the classic dynamics of this deranged group of heroes that we have already come to love on the big screen, and of course in comics, to the console.
As we have seen in the previous trailers released over the past few weeks, we will advance in the adventure with a team composed of four Guardians at a time, who will be able to show off all their peculiar skills in battle to solve the fights in less time possible and also with a certain style.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PC and streaming with GeForce NOW on October 26, 2021. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is also coming to Nintendo Switch in the cloud version in some regions, starting October 26.
