Let’s find out together, in this short dedicated guide, what the duration of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is, i.e. how many hours of life Insomniac Games’ game will absorb between the main plot and secondary missions
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has been available for a couple of days now and it looks like it will be talked about for some time. In a busy month like October, which saw the arrival of other great titles (Assassins’ Creed Mirage, Super Mario Wonder and the upcoming Alan Wake 2), the release of the new great first party single-player game from Sony, branded Insomniac Games , it represented a rather important event and one of the additions to the 2023 GOTY nominations. We’ll see what awaits us in the remaining two months of this year, in the meantime our adventure in New York as the two Spider-Mans ended with a platinum… but how long did it take us?
How long is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
So let’s talk about duration: how long does it take to complete Marvel’s Spider-Man 2? Insomniac’s title is exactly in the average of triple-A productions of this genre. If you want to complete only the 31 main plot missions (here is the complete list!), therefore focusing exclusively on the story, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will take you approximately 15-20 ore, based on the level of difficulty and your pad skills. If you add some secondary content to these, without aiming for 100%, you will easily arrive at 20-25 ore.
As for us, we decided to platinum Insomniac’s game (a rather easy platinum, if you are a collector we recommend it immediately) and we therefore spent a few more hours. Currently, the internal counter of the PlayStation 5 shows exactly 30 hours of gameplay, but we realize that if you don’t look at the trophy list beforehand (perhaps ours, click here!), you could find yourself stuck for a few more hours.
