Meta, the company led by Mark Zuckerberg, unveiled today QuestMorea new subscription service for virtual reality (VR) gaming.
The system is the consolidated one that is making the fortune of Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus: subscribers get free access to the games. Titles that, according to Meta, will include “the best titles out there, including hits, classics and new discoveries”. Unlike Game Pass and PS Plus though, Quest Plus allows you to request only two free games a monthchosen by Meta.
July games are Pistol Whip e Pixel Ripped 1995while for August there will be Walkabout Mini Golf e MOTHERGUNSHIP: FORGE. The free games will change on the first day of each month.
How much does the Meta Quest Plus subscription cost? And which viewers does it support?
At the moment Meta has not released the international price list, so we don’t know how much the service will cost in euros. After all, the subscription page is not yet accessible from Italy. However we do know that in the US the Quest Plus will cost $7.99 a monthwith the possibility of subscribing to a $59.99 annual plan. However, Meta has announced a special promotion for the launch of the service: those who subscribe by July 31st will be able to have the first month for only $1.
Quest Plus will only work on Meta Quest 2 e Quest Pro and will also be extended to Quest 3when it hits the market this fall.
