Meta Quest v40 is the new software update, it adds app unlock, audio accessibility options and more
Everyone loves the milestonesand it’s hard to beat those with a handsome zero tondo at the end. Meta Quest arrived atupdate v40 and has a lots of new features to show.
The security and privacy are the main themes of v40, which presents the possibility of lock and unlock applications specifications through an unlock pattern, in addition to the support for 3D Secure payments made while wearing the headset and making calls Optional end-to-end encrypted messengers.

MORE KEYBOARDS
It is gone about a year since Meta Quest 2 was first introduced to track the keyboard Logitech’s K830 via Bluetooth. What better way to celebrate than by adding more keyboards to the mix?
The Apple Magic Keyboard has already been added with version 37, but today Meta Quest enables support for the Apple Magic Keyboard with numeric keypad. Two new Logitech keyboards have also been added: Logitech K375s e Logitech MX Keys.
As the list of supported devices grows, there has also been a need for an easier way to manage the keyboards used. In fact, just look for the section “Manage saved keyboards”In the Settings menu to keep track of the keyboard templates added to the viewer and make changes.
AUDIO ACCESSIBILITY
The board Accessibility of the Settings menu is enriched with new options to make the Meta Quest headset more comfortable for people with hearing problems.

Anyone can feel free to make changes, users will have more control and even more options to adjust the audio in VR to suit their needs.
