The developer confirmed that Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition will come up Xbox Series X / S e PS5 with the release date which is already fixed at June 18. Together with 4K its Xbox Series X e PS5 (1080p on Xbox Series S), the enhanced version of Metro Exodus, whose release date is set for June 18, will turn to 60 frames per second. Ray tracing will be present on all new versions along with options for customizing the field of view. Xbox players will be able to take advantage of spatial audio and latency controller improved while the tactile feedback of DualSense is obviously supported on PS5. In short, for both sides of gaming, the proverbial glass is really half full (and even more).

Those who already own a copy of the aforementioned game on last gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) can take advantage of a free update to versions for current gaming platforms. A physical version of the game, titled Metro Exodus Complete Edition, will also arrive on Xbox Series X / S, PS5 and Xbox One.
