Metroid Prime 4: Retro Studios seeks talent
Earlier this month, the development of Metroid Prime 4 has reached its third anniversary without even a trailer or any kind of clue regarding the launch window yet. The lack of updates on the game’s development has put off some fans of the series, but Retro Studios’ job announcements bode well for this IP’s future.
On Twitter, the development studio announced it was looking for a Tools Engineer and a Technology Engineer. Both positions are attributable to Metroid Prime 4, as confirmed by the software house itself. According to the job descriptions for each position, it appears that the focus of the work is to help optimize the gameplay and technical performance of the title.
This could potentially mean that Retro Studios is filing the details of Metroid Prime 4 to finally be able to show it to the community with all the trappings of the case. As theE3 2022, it is plausible to imagine that Retro Studios may have something to show to Metroid Prime 4 fans, which is why it is looking to increase its staff.
It is important to point out in this sense that Metroid Prime 4 is likely to be an incredibly ambitious title, with a plethora of content that can keep players glued to the screen for hundreds of hours. From this point of view, the very long development times make sense, especially considering how long it took for the official launch of Metroid Dread.
