The update brings the new features Android 12 and many new software designed by Xiaomi engineers. Some of which will receive the update immediately: as soon as it is announced, the distribution will begin. Then a first group of smartphones will follow between January and February, a second between March and May, and finally a third group after May. Some of the latter group will receive one MIUI version based on Android 11, most likely for hardware compatibility issues.
