Today 2K revealed that the Season 3 of NBA 2K24 will bring new hand changes, as well as content and rewards for MyCAREER, MyTEAM and The W starting Friday, December 1st. Season 3 introduces the 25 Days of 2K with new things to experience every day until December 25th.
NBA 2K24 Season 3 releases during the Christmas season
In NBA 2K24 Season 3, players can enjoy the sunshine this holiday season with l’Hall of Famer Allen Iverson. Iverson returns to the virtual court with his guard tactics, dribble repertoire, agility and incredible athleticism to dish out new rewards and help usher in the holiday season in NBA 2K24. 25 Days of 2K celebrating the 25th anniversary of NBA 2K and they’re counting down to the start of the holidays! Starting December 1st through December 25th, 2K will distribute MyCAREER and MyTEAM Locker codes, pay homage with 25th anniversary cards harking back to NBA 2K21, 2K18, 2K9 and even the first edition of NBA 2K, will organize special events and much more.
What’s new in Season 3
Il In-Season tournament kicked off the start of the 23-24 NBA season and thanks to NBA 2K24 the excitement reaches the virtual court. Season 3 will include the addition of each team’s home city jerseys and, specifically for New Gen consoles, NBA Cup playgrounds in MyCAREER and MyNBA.
Season 3 of MyTEAM will contain the first Pink Diamond Player Cards of NBA 2K24: the level 40 Pink Diamond Jimmy Butler card, a Pink Diamond Kevin Garnett and Hakeem Olajuwon also in Pink Diamond version. Additionally, for the first time, Season 3 will feature 40 Player Cards, one for each tier, featuring Hall of Fame, MVP, All-Star, Rookies of the Year and community favorites representing the 25th anniversary of NBA 2K. Season 3 of My career Spread holiday cheer with twinkling lights, snowmen and other cheerful decorations to help players get into the holiday spirit. Starting at level 1, players will receive a themed t-shirt and basketball, the ability to earn new shot indicators, 2XP coins, Allen Iverson’s hairstyle, new flooring, upgraded accessories, new ball paths, a pocket bike and emotes, culminating in the ability to earn the level 30 mascot costume. Players who manage to reach level 40 on New Gen will be rewarded with a Golden Pavement, while Current Gen players will earn an extra badge point.
