Google: launch event set for October 5th
A few days ago Mishaal Rahman shared on Twitter the screen of a CNET article – now deleted – in which the Google event of October 5th was described in detail. More specifically, this anticipated the announcement of new smart speakers and safety devices, as well as new features on the way su Google Maps e Google Flights. It is quite clear, therefore, that the new Pixel 6 will remain excluded from the launch event. The new series of smartphones, in fact, should be launched next October 19, to then be available for purchase from October 28th.
Indeed, from what we know, on the occasion of the launch of the Pixel 6 Google could also present its own first foldable smartphone. At the moment, however, we only know a few details about Google’s new premium phones: 6.4-inch Full HD + display with 90Hz refresh rate. The Pro model, on the other hand, will have a 6.7-inch QHD + display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both smartphones will also have a Google Tensor chip. Unfortunately, however, we should wait before seeing what the technical characteristics of the new Pixel 6 series will be.
Despite this, however, the technological giant will present interesting news regarding Nest devices and some of its services. We don’t know what it is specifically, but it would appear that Google has been working hard to update its products of the year. Clearly, all eyes are on the Pixel 6, but we’re confident that Google’s event will surprise us in an unexpected way.
