Nokia has been able to distinguish itself over the years from its main competitors by offering specific products to different types of users. Among these, we find lovers of the old style who, for one reason or another, remain fond of classic mobile phones while giving up the “smart” component. Despite the developments, whether for reasons of style, generation or to do a detox period from technology, classic cell phones or “feature phones” have never stopped being produced. Not, Nokia offers us the new 2660 Flip and this is its review.
As anticipated, we are in the presence of a feature phone whose main purpose is to make and receive calls, send text messages and all those basic functions of a mobile phone.

The Nokia 2660 Flip review
The Nokia 2660 Flip contains within itself and in its clamshell design all the charm of “old” mobile phones without sacrificing the quality and solidity typical of Nokia products. This model actually measures only 18.9mm high by 55mm wide by 108mm long which makes it super compact but elegant at the same time. The Nokia 2660 Flip is in fact available in 4 bright Pop colours. The sturdy polycarbonate construction gives the phone a feeling of durability and strength.
The mobile phone is equipped with an internal display 2.8 inches with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, sufficient for the most basic of operations. This is accompanied by an external display visible when the device is closed. This is a brilliant solution for keeping track of the main notifications, incoming calls, battery and so on at a glance. The keyboard, in the lower part, is very large and characterized by extra large buttons.
The mobile phone supports dual Nano SIM and micro SD memory expansion. To support everything we have a removable battery 1450 mAh which although it may seem little compared to contemporary smartphones, is more than enough to manage the device for several days without needing to recharge it.

For this review of the Nokia 2660 Flip, we placed the device alongside our regular smartphone. Let’s start by saying that we particularly appreciated the colorful retro charm of this device. Compact, light and easy to handle It’s really comfortable to hold and use.
Making and receiving calls and SMS is undoubtedly its main purpose but it is also able to connect to the internet and take advantage of pre-set applications in the mobile phone such as Facebook. Despite this, since it is not a smartphone, there is no app store and it is not possible to expand the set of applications. However, we have a lot of games available including the always highly appreciated Snake, one of Nokia’s trademarks. Alongside these are also the basic features of a mobile phone like the radio, music, video, calculator, alarm clock, flashlight, voice recorder and so on.
Overall, the phone respects the standards offered by Nokia and represents an excellent alternative to the routine of daily smartphones full of notifications, more or less useful apps and dozens of stimuli that sometimes it is better to silence, something that the Nokia 2660 Flip manages to do do excellently.
