Skills, catalysts and much more
During their adventure, the characters will have to use theirs alchemy skills to proceed, with players using a updated version of the panel synthesis system present in the Mysterious subseries.
In this new chapter, new objects are created based on the alchemical components of the materials placed on the panel. Alchemical components are associated with an element (color) of fire, ice, lightning, wind or light. By selecting a material that consists of an element (alchemical component) that corresponds to the type of object that you want to synthesize, you can acquire various effects.
With alchemical components, brightly lit panels are known as connecting components. When the connecting panels of the same element are adjacent, then form a link. The greater the number of connections, the better the effects will be.
As the game progresses, players will be able to use catalysts and restricted panels.
The use of catalysts will allow special effects such as increasing the size of the synthesis panel. While limited panels have a higher difficulty level of synthesis, there are special effects that can only be acquired using a limited panel.
Additionally, Sophie and Plachta will be able to unlock special use of Assist Skill. When the synthesis Plachta is unlocked, you can select Sophie or Plachta for the synthesis. There are some exclusive recipes for Sophie and some just for Plachta. Some of them include important items that will allow you to progress through the game.

Balance the use of Sophie and Plachta in the synthesis to increase each of their Alchemy Lv. it will be essential to advance the story and unravel the mysteries behind this mysterious dream.
