OnePlus Ace3/12R arrives: the new OnePlus smartphone aiming at the European market with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
OnePlus is a Chinese company that has made itself known for its high-quality smartphones competitive prices. In recent years, OnePlus has expanded its product range, also offering mid- and low-range models, but without sacrificing attention to design and performance. One of the new smartphones that OnePlus has launched on the Chinese market is the OnePlus Ace3a device that is placed in the medium-high range and which promises to offer an excellent user experience thanks to a 6.78-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and a battery from 5.500 mAh with 100W fast charging.
OnePlus Ace3: technical characteristics
The OnePlus Ace3 was officially unveiled on January 4 and will be available for pre-order in China from tomorrow January 8th in three colors: Sand Gold, Iron Gray and Cool Blue. The price varies depending on the memory configuration chosen: 12/256 GB at 2,599 yuan (around 333 euros), 16/512 GB at 2,999 yuan (around 385 euros) and 16/1 TB at 3,499 yuan (around 450 euros).
But the OnePlus Ace3 will not remain exclusive to the Chinese market: in fact, the smartphone will also arrive in Europebut with a different name: OnePlus 12R. This is the first OnePlus R series model to be marketed outside of China and India, and will be officially presented together with the OnePlus 12 on January 23rd at 3pm (Italian time).
Similarities with the European OnePlus 12R
The OnePlus 12R will be essentially identical to the OnePlus Ace3 in terms of technical features, but it may have some differences in design and software. The operating system will be Android 14 with proprietary user interface OxygenOS 14while the price could be slightly higher than the Chinese one.
The OnePlus Ace3/OnePlus 12R therefore presents itself as a very interesting smartphone, which offers a good value for money and which could attract the attention of many users looking for a powerful, elegant device with a great autonomy. We just have to wait for the official presentation to find out all the details on this new OnePlus smartphone.
