Orbital Assembly announces a collaboration with Dream Big Worldto build the first orbiting stores on the space station Pioneer. But starting today with a version of the park orbiting the future in the metaverse. A preview for those who already want to be in orbit, taking advantage of virtual reality.
Orbital Assembly and Dream Big World, space collaboration
During the X-VERSE at GITEX in Dubai, Orbital Assembly and Dream Big World brought customers into orbit for the first time. Without the need for space launches, but announcing a partnership that will also exploit the technology of the metaverse. If indeed Orbital Assembly aims to make the Pioneer and Voyager space stations tourist resorts in orbitalready today we can try a taste of that experience.
John De Lascurain of Dream Big World explains: “Eventually we want to open the first store in space. But in the meantime, let’s introduce the physical spaces Dream Big World and the DBW Metaverse. Our customers will be able to enjoy different digital experiences using VR, NFT, digital fashion and Metaverse ”including the experience with Orbital Assembly.
The plans between the two companies iThey include VR and immersive 3D experiences, simulation of gravity in space on space stations. And also collaborations in stores around the world.
Rhonda StevensonCEO of Orbital Assembly explains: “Dream Big World and OA will collaborate to provide venting environments in the space in our Pioneer and Voyager stations. This is the first of many deals we are developing to launch these tourist, industrial and space stations. It is also the first marketing opportunity on a space station and we believe it will encourage extra-terrestrial opportunities ”.
The Voyager station will contain over 400 people in orbit. But in the meantime, even virtual reality can get you used to living in space.
