After settling on the previous models, finally, it’s time to write one review of the new Secretlab Titan Evo 2022. Improved in its details, the new one ready for gaming Secretlab returns to enrich our stations. The unique and elegant style remains, as well as captivating, accompanied, however, by some improvements. We find it, as always, in different versions, from imitation leather to fabric, from black to white, in order to satisfy every need. This year, the brand wants more than ever to meet customer needs, offering a product that fits every user perfectly. In fact, we find not only different colors and fabrics, but also three sizes (Small, Regular, XL). We have tried for you the Secretlab Evo 2022, in SoftWeave Plus fabric, coloring Plush Pink and size Small and we tell you the details in our review.
Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 review: could it be done better than 2020?
We had already awarded the brand in 2020 for impeccable style, although we had found some small inaccuracies in the session. The new model, the Secretlab Titan Evo 2022, however, evolves also in this sense, becoming even more interesting from the point of view of comfort. How did she behave? We are ready to tell you every little detail in our review, starting with the look, always elegant, but slightly revisited.
Let’s start immediately with the shape of the seat base which now becomes a union between the Omega and Titan 2020 model. If in the previous version, in fact, they had opted for a practically flat base, now they try to give a more rounded shape on the sides. This helps to contain more, without taking away the freedom previously offered, in order to guarantee comfort, but also a good posture. Another interesting implementation is the one related to cushion. The adjustable elastic bands disappear and are replaced by a magnetic band. Remains a composition in memory foam with cooling gel, but change the shape a bit to better suit your posture. The magnetic band also allows greater adjustment on the upper part of the backrest, to ensure better comfort.
And armrests also evolve to ensure a more practical replacement, without decreasing the quality. We always have a function in four dimensions, made of metal with CloudSwap replacement system. In practice we have magnetic coatings that can be exchanged in a few simple gestures.
Three different sizes and a new and sophisticated lumbar system to ensure maximum comfort
Another gimmick that we really appreciated is the new measurement system. Well yes, this year, the Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 comes in three different sizes: Small, Regular and XL. This is one of the parts we liked the most in our review, along with the new lumbar system, but let’s go in order.
The three new measures enable a wider audience to find the comfort they seek, without having to compromise. In particular, the Small model adapts to a height of less than 169 cm and a weight of less than 90Kg; the Regular one between 170 and 189 cm and a weight of less than 100Kg and the XL one is excellent for a height from 181 to 205 cm and a weight up to 180Kg. It is truly a revolution, especially for a medium-low audience.
To close the circle of comfort, a new lumbar system is also introduced which is really effective. If before it was possible to adjust the internal support in only two directions, now we have i am quattro: two in the sense of depth and two in the sense of vertical height. In this way, we can perfectly recreate our lumbar curve for perfect comfort and posture. This new system is a game changer that we couldn’t fail to mention in our Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 review.
The quality of Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 does not change
The new Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 changes some of its detailsthere, without changing its basic characteristics. We always have an absolutely elegant and perfect style for any type of location. The look reigns supreme and is the feature we most appreciate. This year, however, it does the comfort side is also a big leap, adapting even more to every type of user. Has the quality paid any consequences? Absolutely not. In fact, those structural and constructive characteristics that have always characterized all the models of the brand have not changed.
We have, in fact, one cold curable foam which offers comfort and stiffness. The seat, in fact, adapts well to our shapes, without losing composure. This rigidity is perfect from the point of view of posture and guarantees not only comfort, but also the necessary ergonomics. Also this year there is the possibility of tilt the backrest up to 165 °, to move the armrests and to adjust the chair using the multi-inclination mechanism at the base. This allows not only to tilt the whole chair more, but also to enjoy the rocking effect.
The chair then rests on one star base made of aluminum ADC12 cwith XL PU wheels. Star and chair are connected thanks to a class 4 hydraulic mechanism that allows all the necessary height adjustments without problems. The structure of the frame is made of carbon steel, to allow a good duration over time. Let’s finish with the cover; also this year we find the variants in synthetic leather or fabric, of different colors.
Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 review: this time we choose the SoftWeave Plus
If the previous year we got carried away by fake leather, this year, in our review, we talk about the model Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 SoftWeave Plus Plush Pink. Why did we choose the fabric? We were very curious to have a comparison with imitation leather; after years we wanted to change and see, with our eyes, if the fabric could also have its charm. We have to be honest, on an aesthetic level, perhaps, we continue to prefer leather, but even this coverage has its why.
Let’s talk about a technical fabric inspired by high-performance clothing. In particular, we find an interwoven structure, obtained thanks to rings of high resistance fibers. The result is a soft product, but also very resistant and pleasant to the touch. Not only softness and resistance, but also breathability. One of the reasons that prompted us to choose for our review of Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 was precisely the breathability. In fact, in the summer, the skin is not really breathable and it is really easy to stick to it. The fabric, on the other hand, offers a decidedly superior sense of freshness.
For this new SoftWeave Plus we find the colors Mint Green, Frost Blue, Cookies & Cream, Black, Arctic White and Plus Pink. These are brightly colored colors, although not as flashy as it may seem. They adapt to any situation, showing off a fresh but stylish image.
Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 review: we wanted style and comfort and we have it
What there he had held back from giving a “five-star” rating to previous model, it was ergonomics. Not that the 2020 version didn’t sit well, but that wasn’t enough for a $ 400 product. But with the Titan Evo 2022, Secretlab has outdone itself, offering style, elegance and comfort. The aesthetics of the product have not undergone too many changes, although there have been minor changes. This has allowed us to always maintain a high-level look, with new colors suitable for every need. The maximum, however, has been achieved thanks to the improvements on the ergonomic side. The new lumbar adjustment system, the new cushion and the different sizes created the perfect mix.
The product had already won the award for best design and, this time, it also wins the one for comfort. The regulation, finally, becomes practically effective for every person. High, low, it doesn’t matter, with a few simple gestures you can enjoy a comfortable and ergonomic seat. We have no doubts, the Secretlab Titan Evo 2022 is the product we have been waiting for and that we can only recommend.
