To avoid annoying partners and roommates, however, you need to listen to them with your friends earphones: but the challenge of wearing them comfortably while sleeping, especially for side sleepers. Sleepbuds, the startup Ozlo relaunches the earphones for sleep by Bose
N.B. Patil, Charles Taylor e Brian Mulcahey are three former Bose employees who have decided to found a new startup called Ozlo. Unwilling to give up on the idea of sleep earbuds, the three founders acquired the Sleepbuds brand from Bose, reports The Verge.
Through this acquisition, Ozlo now owns the brand sleepbudswith a small exception represented by the ear cushions which still retain the design “StayHear” is the Voice. But there are many things Ozlo says he has improved.
Sleepbuds have a battery life of around 10 hours. But Ozlo has included one “biometric sensing technology” which monitors movements and breathing during sleep, helping to determine when you fall asleep and analyzing sleep stages. The charging case, while similar in appearance 8except for the different logo), now has sensors for light, sound and temperature, provides data on the surrounding environment during sleep.
This data is then collected in the Ozlo mobile app, providing a morning summary of your sleep performance. You can also share data with Apple Health or Android Health Connect.
One of the most significant upgrades is the ability for Sleepbuds v3 play both normal music and a variety of masking sounds. So you can use different streaming apps to listen to music, audiobooks or podcasts.
Ozlo has already raised 10 million in crowdfunding and has launched a Kickstarter to give us a rest with these earphones, which should cost around $249.99. You can find more information on the Ozlo website.
