To be better, sometimes a mod is enough: we have gathered together the three most promising ones so far, in the delirium that is the world of Palworld
Now that Palworld is in early access, you would think that the development team would be the only ones dealing with the finishing touches to the title, but this hasn’t stopped the most zealous fans from bringing the most varied to life mod and that’s why we have gathered the best ones here. Naturally this mini-guide is destined to age very badly, considering that the game has been “out” for less than a week. Yet, there is already a lot to talk about and, why not, even laugh if you want. So we invite you to fasten your seat belts: things are about to get a little more… crazy than the trailer you saw below.
For the sake of frying hardware | Palworld: the best mods
If you’ve read our previous article on the best settings for Palworld, you’ll be pleased to know that there is a mod specifically designed to further increase performance. We present to you the Maximum Graphic Mod. It’s basically a configuration file that aims to… evolve (we couldn’t resist) the game’s graphics. This all translates into improvements to the shadows, actual clouds, a higher viewing distance and even tweaks to the title’s ambient occlusion. Only side note, avoid making claims for the poor Steam Deck (as you will remember from the aforementioned article).
“I can already smell roast!” | Palworld: the best mods
Any gamer worthy of calling himself a veteran will have recognized this dialogue by memory, but for everyone else it is a quote from the very first Spyro The Dragon. Well yes, the little dragon “joins” the game, replacing Foxparks, complete with a bone structure created specifically and animations taken heavily from Spyro Reignited Trilogy. All of this, seen in action, seems truly incredible… and brings us back to the good old days, when to play with him you had to barricade yourself at home or bask in the illusion that your Dragonite was actually called Spyro. Too autobiographical, you say? Better move on…
Opportunities to seize quickly | Palworld: the best mods
Speaking of winged creatures, isn’t it a big pain in the ass to have to land every now and then when taking flight? If you think so, you might think about tweaking the game in such a way remove stamina costs during air movement. For those of you who want to exploit Nitewing all the way to the edge of Palpagos, this is the mod for you. We add, in the appendix, that UEVR by Praydog is supported by the game. For the uninitiated, this translates into the possibility of playing Palworld in virtual reality. If you’ve ever dreamed of looking down on a world of monsters from above in real time (and the introduction of Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire wasn’t enough for you), this answers your highly specific wish.
Are we not forgetting anything?
Yes, of course, we also know that no list of the best mods for Palworld is complete without the possibility of changing the 3D models of the Pals with Pokémon themselves: the modders didn’t wait even a day to get to work. The ice is thin, in this sense, and according to an update on the matter that we will be sending to press shortly for Pocketpair they could even get further complicated. Apart from this, however, we refer you to our guides (with possible imperfections in the Italian terms) for riding the Pals, for capturing them and, in general, for making the most of them.
