PFU (EMEA) Limited launched on the market HHKB Studio, an all-in-one keyboard that redefines efficiency and comfort for users. This device, the result of collaboration with Huge Design LLC, stands out for its Gesture Padand Integrated pointing stick and the possibility of customize the key layout.
The HHKB series, introduced in 1996, is known for its 60% key layout, which emphasizes simplicity and efficiency. HHKB Studio continues this philosophy with a minimalist design which incorporates the latest technological innovations, developed thanks to customer feedback.
Features of the HHKB Studio keyboard
The functionalities Gesture Pad are one of the coolest features of HHKB Studio, giving users the ability to run a wide range of commands with simple finger gestures. These include switching windows, scrolling, and adjusting settings like volume. Gesture Pads are also customizable to adapt to specific tasks, such as photo and video editing.
Also noteworthy are the pointing stick – positioned in the center – and the mouse buttons located below the space key, thus eliminating the need for external devices such as touchpads or mice.
The 45g linear and silent switches they are an absolute novelty for HHKB Studio, designed to guarantee smoothness and minimize distractions while typing. The keyboard also supports the function hot-swappableallowing users to customize MX type 3 and 5 pin mechanical switches according to your preferences. There is also plenty of room for customisation.
