Philips MyCreation: new 3D printed lamps debut at Milan Design Week

In a luminous installation for the Milan Design Week, Signify presented a new pendant luminaire part of the range Philips MyCreation. All devices born from the use of the 3D printing applied to the world of lighting, which add to an already successful range. But this time, we find the concept of “layering” at the heart of the design.

Signify presents a new pendant lamp from the Philips MyCreation range at Milan Design Week

The lamp, born from the collaboration between Signify and the industrial designer Basten Leijhis inspired by the concept of layering of fabrics. Something typical in the world of fashion, but really impressive in the world of lighting. Each layer is distinguished by different shades: the innermost one presents a soft and delicate nuance, the middle one a strong white with a translucent finish and the external one contains everything with different shades of color, translucent white, pink or satin bronze.

These particular nuances are made possible thanks to the use of recycled materials in a percentage of no less than 55% through sustainable production technology. The small irregularities due to the starting material make each lamp a unique and original piece.

The lamp comes in two different formats, small and medium, thus adapting to any installation context. Not only private homes but also professional environments typical of the hospitality, retail and fashion sectors.

Presented on the occasion of Milano Design Week 2024the lamp illuminates the installation called 'Circular Bar', a space entirely 3D printed created in collaboration between Signify, Aectual e Dutch Orginals.

You can find more information about the MyCreation range on the official Signify website.
