POCO C61, the new entry-level smartphone from the Chinese company, officially lands on Indian territory
A few days after the first previews, LITTLE C61 it's official: the new Android smartphone presents itself as the successor to the POCO C51, launched in April 2023, and is positioned in the low end of the Indian market.
POCO C61: a large and bright display
POCO C61 boasts a large display 6.71 inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution (1650 x 720), a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, a brightness of 500 nits and glass protection Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Reliable performance
The beating heart of the device is the SoC MediaTek Helio G36 octa-core, supported by 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal memory. The memory is expandable both virtually, with the Turbo RAM function which brings the total up to 12 GB, and physically, thanks to the microSD slot.
Cameras
POCO C61 offers a Dual AI Camera with 8MP main sensor, capable of taking advantage of HDR mode, Portrait mode, timelapse and other AI features. The selfie camera is 5 MP. Furthermore, the 5000 mAh battery ensures long battery life, ideal for those who use their smartphone frequently.
POCO C61: availability
POCO C61 is available in three colors: Ethereal Blue, Diamond Dust Black and Mystical Green. The recommended retail price is 6999 Indian Rupees (approx 77 euro) for the 4-64 GB version and 7999 INR (approx 88 euro) for the 6-128 GB version.
On the occasion of the launch, there will be a discount of 500 rupees with a dedicated coupon, which brings the price down to 6499 and 7499 rupees (approximately 72 and 83 euros). POCO C61 will be available in India at starting March 28, 2024.
