Il Lucca Comics & Games 2022 is now around the corner and for this year’s edition, which will take place from October 28 to November 1, 2022, Italian ProGaming (PGI) has announced that he will return with the Italian Esports Open. The format full of activities and contents dedicated to Esports and video games will be held in the evocative setting of the Esports Cathedral in Piazza San Romano. Italian Esports Open 2022: the format returns for Lucca Comics & Games
Everything will begin Friday 28 October, with the opening ceremony of the entire event. The first day will be dedicated – starting at 11.00 – to the world Pokémonwith a retrogaming of titles and their competitive aspect. In addition, we will also talk about the future, with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. There will be challenges, panels and more nostalgic and emotional moments. At the head of the event there will be Francesco Pardinithe best known player nationally and internationally.
Saturday 29 October is dedicated to branded activities Riot Games. It will start with the finals of one of the competitive events of League of Legends most followed – the Baolo Championship Series – the influencer competition led by Paolocannone and player of the Qlash team. Finally, starting at 11.00 pm, it continues with the World Championship Viewing Party Worlds di League of Legends.
Sunday 30th October there will be the Storm Circuit in League of Legends, with the final expectations of the “Lucca Baron Battle” events. The highest level tournament among those that make up the circuit will be commented by the casters Carlotta ‘Charlie’ De Simon e Stefano ‘Tavernello’ Martelli and broadcast live on the Twitch channel PG_Esports_LoL.
During the day of Monday 31 Octoberthe schedule will move to Rocket Leaguewith numerous tournaments and showmatches.
Closing day and other activities
To conclude, on the closing day – Tuesday 1st November – we will talk about the Storm Circuit from VALUING, with the final stages of the “Lucca in Range” tournament. Following two proplayers from the Esports Qlash team will compete in the “On equal terms” format, in which fans will have the unique opportunity to play alongside their idols.
In addition to the long-awaited matches and finals that will take place within the Esports CathedralPGI helped to create an entirely themed space with the publisher Riot at the former Comics Museum. The project will see the community as the real protagonist through a series of activities dedicated to the entire Riot universe and in particular to the world VALUING, League of Legends ed Arcane.
