The latest of these is the QuakeCon 2022which for this year will take place in a fully digital online format.
QuakeCon 2022: the event will be digital only

However, we know that this year’s QuakeCon will take place from August 18 to 20 and that the organizers are already hard at work to put together a busy schedule:
“Our team is working hard to be able to organize a suitable program, with virtual meetings, giveaways, opportunities to donate to charity, the virtual version of BYOC and much more that we will unveil in June.”
2022 therefore does not seem to be the year of the return of face-to-face events, given that there are already several appointments that will take place only digitally or that have been directly canceled. Just think of E3 2022, which will not take place this year. The only event to maintain a hybrid format for now is Gamescom 2022.
