Capcom has finally shared the details of the news coming to Resident Evil Village: as well as a new one DLC there will also be more content for Mercenaries mode it’s a third person mode. The set that contains all these features is called Winters’ Expansion and will be available from October 28. Let’s find out all the details together.
New DLC, Mercenaries mode and third person coming to Resident Evil Village
The new narrative campaign, Shadows of Rosehas as protagonist Rosethe daughter of the village protagonist Ethan Winters. “Rosemary Winters, Ethan’s beloved daughter, has grown up and is struggling with terrifying powers,” wrote Capcom’s Tsuyoshi Kanda in a PlayStation blog post. “Looking for a way to free herself from her curse, Rose enters the consciousness of the Megamycete. Rose’s journey takes her to a mysterious realm where memories of the past return to create a distorted and twisted world of nightmares ”.
Shadows of Rose takes place in the third person and, thanks to Wintersit will also be possible to play the main story in the third person. Updates to the Mercenaries arcade mode they include new ones instead stage e playable charactersincluding the the famous Lady Dimitrescutwo meters high.
During her event, Capcom didn’t just share Resident Evil Village news. The company also announced that next-gen updates for Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil Biohazard are officially available for download. It also also showed a brief look at the next remake from Resident Evil 4 and stated that the Resident Evil Re: Verse online multiplayer game will be available on the same day as the Winters’ Expansion, the October 28.
