The aura of mystery surrounding the announcement of a return of (indeed a return to) does not seem to clear up. Monkey Island, a hugely popular videogame franchise that those who grew up in the 90s will surely remember. A nostalgia-flavored tear will wet the faces of those of you who are reading and playing with it. Everyone else will wonder why so much hype. Well you, dear generation Z who are getting lost in these thoughts, you have no heart at all. Seriously, the announcement has literally drove fans crazy, and as if that weren’t enough, the first images of the new game arrive today.
The screens appeared on the videogame’s official social channels, commented by fans with hearts, tears and the inevitable gifs of Giovanni (by Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo) who crying sobs “I can’t do it, too many memories”. But chat to the bands: here are the very first photos published.
