Asus ROG is a well-known brand, in particular in ambito gaming, for its excellent performance and its attractive look. Today, the brand showed some of its latest creations live. We have followed his event live for you and, in case you missed it, here are some of the innovations that were launched during the conference.
Asus ROG Z690: motherboards of the future
First of all the event Asus ROG gave way to a broad view of the new motherboards Z690. Let’s talk about a product suitable to accompany the new processors Intel from twelfth generation. We have support for PCIe 5.0 and for the new ones DDR5 memory. All this combined with top-notch connectivity, better cooling and better AI performance.
Motherboards ASUS Z690 feature unique software and firmware that leverage machine learning and artificial intelligence to bring the user experience to its fullest expression. Asus tries, for its selected cards, to offer the best in terms of: overclocking, cooling, networking and integrated audio. In detail, the AI Overclocking system processes information to obtain the optimal configuration that pushes every system to its limits.
Technology WiFi 6E integrated exploits the radio spectrum as soon as available in the 6 GHz band and this allows to have up to three times the bandwidth of the 5 GHz band and up to seven 160 MHz bands.
What are the offerings of the ROG Z690?
During the Asus ROG event, we could also see the different offers of the brand, suitable for every need.
We have cards in the ATX format, such as the ROG MAXIMUS Z690 Formula, the ROG MAXIMUS Z690 Apex and the ROG MAXIMUS Z690 Hero. The offer is completed by the ROG Maximus Z690 Extreme and its Glacial version.
Not just motherboards, but also PSUs, headsets and monitors
Another novelty released: new ROG-branded power supplies. Main focus? Noise canceling. The new power supplies are optimized for the new generation of video cards, which is why they have the cabling suitable for the new NVIDIA RTX 30 series cards.
During the conference, announcements about the new monitors, like the new one, are not missing Strix XG309CM with a panel IPS, with refresh of 200 Hz. Let’s talk about a solution ultrawide, 29.5-inch, with a resolution of 2560x1080p. Then we have the ROG Strix XG276Q, a panel from 27 inches, which shows, as always, a very attractive look and a panel IPS full-HD. We have 1ms as regards the response time e 165Hz as a refresh. An intriguing part is the support (arm) to the screen itself, which allows you to mount an additional support to accommodate a possible camera or an additional mini-monitor. There is talk of panels highly designed to offer the best to players
Finally, Asus showed off its new headphones ROG Delta S Animate. The first feature is, of course, the animation offered thanks to the LEDs present on the pavilions. We are talking about the same technology also present on the Zephyrus series laptops. As far as features are concerned, we have a Hi-Fi ess 9281 QUAD DAC with MQA support and active microphone cancellation.
