Samsung Galaxy C55 is official, let's discover the aesthetic differences and prices of the new mid-range smartphone
Samsung recently expanded its range of mid-range smartphones with the introduction of the Galaxy C55, a device that, at first glance, might seem like a completely new edition. However, deeper analysis reveals that the Galaxy C55 is, in fact, one rebadged version of the Galaxy M55already presented at the end of March in Brazil and about to debut in Europe.
Samsung Galaxy C55: renewed aesthetics for a different audience
The most obvious differences between the two models concern exclusively the aesthetic aspect. The Galaxy C55 is available in two new colors, black and orange, which deviate from the classic shades of the Galaxy M55. Furthermore, Samsung has opted for a golden ring around the C55's rear cameras, giving the device a sleeker, more refined look. The real aesthetic novelty, however, is the finish of the rear panel, made in imitation leather with contrasting stitching in the black variant, which gives the phone a touch of originality and a more comfortable grip.
Technical specifications unchanged
Under the hood, Galaxy C55 and Galaxy M55 share exactly the same technical characteristics. Both devices are equipped with a Qualcomm processor Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, accompanied by 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory expandable via microSD. There 5,000mAh battery guarantees respectable autonomy, while the 45W fast charging allows you to restore charge levels quickly.
The photographic sector includes a triple rear camera of 50MP (main) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) and a 50MP front camera for high-quality selfies. The equipment is completed by the 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ display with 120Hz refresh rate, 5G connectivity and the Android 14 operating system with One UI 6.1 interface.
Samsung Galaxy C55: price and availability
The Galaxy C55 is currently only available in China, where it is priced at 1,999 yuan (around 260 euros) for the 8GB+256GB version and 2,299 yuan (around 300 euros) for the 12GB+256GB variant. At the moment there is no official information on its availability in international markets.
