Google just released one new beta for Android 13but it seems that soon Samsung will join the group of developers. In fact, it looks like Samsung will introduce the beta in three weeks (or in any case by the end of July). With the stable version that will debut in October.
Samsung, the beta of Android 13 coming soon
Google showed the first developer preview of Android 13 already in February, and then start experimenting with betas. It seems the goal is to launch a stable version for Augustwell before what happened with Android 12, which debuted with the Pixel 6 in October.
Google is already experimenting with beta 3.3 of its new operating system. But soon Samsung may be offering the One UI 5.0 beta, based on Android 13. According to reports from SamMobile, the period fixed on the calendars of the Korean giant is the week of July 18thalthough there is no precise date yet.
The first devices destined to receive the beta will undoubtedly be the top of the range, Galaxy S22, S22+ e S22 Ultra. After that it will be the turn of the two lines of folding smartphonesGalazy Z Fold 3 e Flip 3 (and perhaps even the fourth generation, which could arrive this summer.
In the next two months we should also see last year’s top series, Galaxy S21 insieme a Fold 2 e Flip 5G. Instead it seems likely that the others (all the A and M lines) will receive the updates only after the stable version debuts on the top of the range lines.
It seems that the stable version of One UI 5.0 may debut at already October. A further sign of the fact that the collaboration between Samsung and Google is getting closer: Android 11 arrived in December, while 12 in November. Samsung continues to speed up the update process. Furthermore, Samsung is currently the only company that insures four years of official updates and five of security updates, even better than Google.
