All’IFA 2023 Sharp celebrates its “111 years of innovation”, bringing several interesting innovations to Berlin: from audio to home cleaning, passing through electric mobility. With Kai Thielen, we visited the company’s stand and discovered all the new debut products. But also the large portfolio of devices offered by the company: Sharp wants to give customers a lot of decision-making space, to find the right product for everyone.
Sharp at IFA 2023 announces many innovations, from audio to e-mobility
The innovations brought by Sharp Consumer Electronics to the stand of the German fair were really fascinating, ranging in different sectors. We discovered several technological innovations, across the board.
Sharp audio news at IFA 2023
In the audio industry, Sharp launched the new portable speaker SumoBox Pro (CP-LS200). A powerhouse of audio that delivers sound up to 108 dBwith a stereo speaker system from 200 W RMS, consisting of 2 x 10″ woofers and 2 x 3″ tweeters. The wooden frame of the SumoBox Pro ensures reliable acoustics, while the angled design promotes optimal sound dispersion.
Sharp’s SumoBox series leverages solutions from Devialetby integrating the technology SAM® (Speaker Active Matching). Thanks to this technology, the SumoBox Pro delivers rich, detailed and powerful bass with minimal distortion.
The speaker offers three input channels that include connections TRS/XLR combo (2x), TO it’s a connessione Bluetooth wirelessall with independent level control.
Electric mobility by Sharp: we also find Milan in Berlin
Another interesting novelty that we saw at Sharp’s IFA 2023 stand is the Milano hybrid e-bike (BK-RS08E). Equipped with a powerful electric motor 250Wthe e-bike offers smooth acceleration and a assisted maximum speed of 25 km/hwith five adjustable assistance levels.

Long-lasting batteries allow up to 80 kilometers of autonomywhile premium features such as the carbon strap Gates Belt Drive CDNTM e il display LCD a colori they enhance the experience. The 21-inch lightweight aluminum frame is easily disassembled. Sharp explained to us that the Milano e-bike will be available starting from Q4/2023 in the colors matte black (BK-RS08EB) a 2.499 € e shiny silver (BK-RS08ES) a 2.599 €.
But the company also continues to focus on electric scootersof which it presents many models to adapt to all needs. Kai Thielen he explains that Sharp has recently entered the world of electric mobility, but already offers an impressive portfolio, with new launches in the coming months.
Vacuum Cleaners and Air Fryers
The friggitrici ad aria Sharp they allow you to cook with 90% less fat, thanks to hot air circulation up to 2,500 rpm. The structure of the pan promotes perfect cooking on all sides, while the non-stick coating simplifies cleaning. The fryers are equipped with a touch control panel and a digital display to adjust the programs and the temperature. They offer eight programmed cooking settings for different foods, and the powerful heating elements allow for quick pre-heating. The AF-GS552A series also includes the “reheat” and “keep warm” functions.
In addition, Sharp brought to the IFA 2023 in Berlin the wireless stick vacuum cleaner from the Power Duo series offer up to three cleaning levels with different suction intensities. Thanks to the interchangeable roller heads and various accessories, they go everywhere. Battery life doubled with the Duo Battery system.
Sharp told us the air fryers will be available in Q4 2023 in sizes from 4 liters for €89.99 and 5.5 liters for €139.99. The Power Duo series of vacuum cleaners will be available from 2024 with prices varying and € 279,99 at € 459,99.
A large variety of TVs
To these products is added another classic category for Sharp, that of televisions. Thielen explains to us that the big news for next year it will be Mini-LEDswith Sharp immediately deciding to launch three different models at IFA 2023, which will hit the market next year.
But that doesn’t mean the company doesn’t continue to focus on QLED, offering many different technological solutions. And he has also decided to focus on several operating systems: in addition to Google TV, also Tivo and Roku TV (not currently on the Italian market, but with the aim of getting there).
