Due to the title’s fluctuating commercial results, so far the fate of the series has remained in one limbo of uncertainty from which it has not come out for years: but after a recent rumor, the possibility has finally arisen, after years, that Shenmue 4 may be in progress at the studios of 110 Industries. Shenmue 4 rumor: collaboration between 110 Industries and Yu Suzuki
This rumor arises from the fact that, during the last edition of the Tokyo Game ShowYu Suzuki era presente in the 110 Industries panel. This has piqued the interest of many people, as no joint project has been announced so far. After a fan asked the publisher about the rumor of a new Shenmue 4 on Instagram, the latter replied “Guess why it was in our TGS livestream”. To further confirm the rumor, when another fan reported the incident on Twitter suggesting the rumor, a response was found from the official account of 110 Industries with written “No comment”.

Of course, as is always the case with this type of news, it is simply a rumor, and as such it should be taken.
