Thanks to the new collaboration between Louis Vuitton e Yayoi KusamaSnapchat launched today new augmented reality experiences for their users. These will now be able to give color to some of the most popular monuments in the world, thanks to the multicolored Painted Dots typical of Kusama. These will appear, at least virtually, on unmistakable locations such as Torre Eiffel and theArch of Triumph in Paris, the Statue of Liberty in New York and the Tower Bridge from London.
The famous monuments thus become blank canvases for coloring. And it will be the Snapchatters who will give them color, through the app and the patterns of the famous Japanese artist. On the occasion of the announcement of the partnership Geoffrey PerezHead of Global Luxury at Snap, said:
“Louis Vuitton and Yayoi Kusama, using the augmented reality of Snapchat, digitally decorate some iconic places, just as they did in real life on the windows of boutiques on the Champs-Élysées or in London. Louis Vuitton surprises and captivates customers around the world through Snapchat’s augmented reality, dressing the physical and digital world in Kusama’s unmistakable polka dots,” said Geoffrey Perez, Head of Global Luxury at Snap.
