Spotify has taken a liking to it, after Wrapped’s look at the past, it arrives today Playlist in a Bottlea new feature that allows you to create a Futuristic playlist to discover in 2024. The streaming music giant just introduced the ability to generate today a playlist that will be delivered to us in January 2024. A way to look back and see how we were a year ago, while today we look forward and project our love of music into 2024.
How Spotify Playlist in a Bottle works
To try Playlist in a Bottle, all you need is the Spotify mobile app updated to the latest version. The feature is available only from mobile device. To access, just click on this link (or click on Playlist Futuristica in the home of the app).
At this point Spotify will ask us for a few steps. First we will be asked to decide what our own time capsule will look like. We will be able to choose between a bottle, a jeans pocket, a chewing gum vending machine, a lunch box or a teddy bear.
The next step is to answer three simple questions:
- Which song do you want to hear live in 2023?
- What song reminds you of your favorite person?
- What song are you hoping to kiss someone on this year?
After inviting us to share an image of our time capsule, Spotify promises us that in January 2024 we will receive our personalized playlist.
The new feature is live starting today in 27 markets, including Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, New Zealand , Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States. Playlist in a Bottle is available for both premium and free users on iOS and Android.
