During the past few hours, Todd Howard wished all Bethesda fans happy holidays and, for the occasion, took the opportunity to share some updates on the development of Starfield: according to what explained by the manager, the team has made enormous progress in the work on the game and is looking forward to showing it again next year.
Starfield: great progress in development
We remind you that Starfield will be a Sci-fi RPG and will arrive exclusively on the consoles of the Xbox ecosystem on 11 November 2022; it will also be available on day one for all Game Pass subscribers. The game is highly anticipated by the community, as it has all the credentials to be a really interesting and also quite ambitious project by Bethesda.
In his greeting message Todd Howard took the opportunity to share some extra updates on the production, of which for the moment we have only seen a short teaser trailer. The CEO stated the following: “This year the team has made great progress in developing Starfield. We really can’t wait to show you the game in 2022! ”.
The hopes of seeing a first Starfield gameplay trailer coinciding with the first months of 2022 therefore no longer seem so unlikely, ideally in an event created ad hoc by Microsoft. Such a media exposure would not surprise on the other hand, given that the game is undoubtedly one of the flagship products coming out next year on the new generation of the Redmond giant.
It is no coincidence that during the past few months Bethesda has been sipping information on the game, posting screenshots and interesting behind the scenes about the development. From what little we’ve seen it looks like Starfield’s world building is excellent and varied, so we can’t wait to see the new work from the creators of The Elder Scrolls in action.
