Talent Garden, the international community of digital innovators, consolidates the digital education market with the acquisition of one of the largest European digital business schools: Hyper Island.
After having established itself by bringing the coworking model to Italy, which has always been interpreted in its value of networking and development of skills beyond space, Talent Garden has also grown significantly in the world of digital education aimed at students, professionals and large European companies. . With this operation, it further strengthens its focus on digital education, which becomes 80% of the business.
Hyper Island, with more than 25 years of history in digital education, headquartered in Sweden, also present in the UK, Singapore, Brazil and North America and Asia Pacific, is a business school specializing in digital education with an offer of accredited education programs , part-time and full-time (Masters), as well as intensive courses aimed at executives of large companies, with a view to training that increases the levels of knowledge and understanding of digital culture, transformation technologies and how these influence the conception, execution, processes and collaboration with customers and business models.
At the closing of the transaction, scheduled for early December, Talent Garden will acquire control of 54% of Hyper Island, with the option to rise to 100% in the coming years.
Talent Garden, which in recent years has been able to demonstrate the ability to evolve in its e-learning platform strategy and to continue to grow even “stand alone”, with the acquisition of Hyper Island expands in terms of geographical footprint passing from 8 to 12 markets, consolidating the “nordics” market and opening up to the UK (both London and Manchester) as well as the global presence of Singapore, Brazil and North America and Asia Pacific and doubling the team reaching 250 employees. A new structural dimension that lays the foundations to give an even more effective execution to the industrial plan for the next three years.
A European player whose leadership in Education is confirmed in the numbers: 50 million revenues expected in 2022, 20,000 professionals from large companies trained per year, 5,000 students entered the job market with 98% placement rates and more than 4,500 supported startups and digital innovators. Active partnerships with more than 150 large companies around the world for reskilling and upskilling plans. In addition, a distributed geographical presence where Italy is worth 35%, the Nordics 35% and the remaining 30% distributed between Spain, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Austria, Singapore and Brazil.
In this context, the Talent Garden Group has developed a complete training offer which is divided into three main segments:
- Business to Consumer: Training courses in the world of digital work and professional learning for students and professionals
- Business to Business: digitalization training programs for large companies with upskilling and reskilling programs
