After a battle with cancer that lasted about a year, Technoblade he died at the age of 23. The announcement comes with a video posted by the family called “See You Nerd,” in which the father reads a message to fans of him. Alex, this is his real name, had achieved popularity thanks to his content dedicated to the Minecraft video game.
In the moving video message, the father confirmed that his son died of cancer, which has reached the fourth stage.
Technoblade’s latest message: “See you, nerd”
“Hi everyone, Technoblade here, if you are watching this video, I am dead” reads the message. “Then let’s sit down and have a last chat.” Technoblade revealed that his real name is Alex and thanked his viewers for all their support, saying “If I had 100 more lives, I think I’d choose to be Technoblade every single time, since those were the happiest years of my life ”. In the video, the father revealed that his son had asked him to read the note.
“At one point, I knelt at his bedside and said, ‘Alex, you don’t have to do anything else, you have done so much for so many people, millions of people, and if you want it now, you can rest. But if you want to write one last video and wait for things to improve a little, don’t wait. I don’t think things will get better. He was the most amazing guy anyone could ever want, ”continued his father. “I miss him.”
The video ended with a message from the YouTuber’s mother, who reiterated how much her son “loved and respected his fans and colleagues”.

Since the news of his death, numerous messages of condolence have appeared on the web. Many of these recall how Alex gave his fans moments of joy, and they can be read in the comments of the farewell video. Others, on the other hand, have arrived on social networks, in particular on Twitter.
