Telepass announces an important initiative for support the entire Italian ski sector during the 2022/2023 winter season through its service Skipass. The aim of the initiative is to counter the effects of the increase in costs for operators in the sector and households. Here are the details:
Telepass launches a new initiative with cashback for customers who activate the Skipass service
Users who activate the Skipass payment service through the Telepass app will receive a 15% cashback on descents made at any affiliated ski area. The initiative will start on 1 December 2022 and will continue until the following March 31, 2023.
As in previous years, at the end of the day the user will be charged the best rate agreed by the ski area in relation to the Telepass service and based on the access times to the lifts. Telepass customers (Telepass Plus and Telepass Pay X) will benefit from the initiative.
The Telepass network includes, in a single Skipass, over 3,000 kilometers of pistes spread across seven regions (Valle d’Aosta, Piedmont, Lombardy, Trentino-Alto Adige, Molise, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto) and for one total of over 45 ski areas.
The company comment
Gabriele Benedetto, Chief Executive Officer of Telepass, declares: “With this initiative, Telepass wants to give a signal of closeness to companies in the sector, to all skiers and to Italian families through concrete help to deal with a general rise in prices linked to energy problems, which we hope will be destined to end soon. Telepass’s goal is to free people’s time and facilitate their travel, whether for work or tourism, on the highways, in the city or in the mountains. The initiative that we are launching today for the 2022-2023 ski season confirms our commitment to ever more comfortable, easy and sustainable mobility ”.
