When it was announced that on the album Innamorato di Blanco (by the way you can find our review here) there would have been a duet with Mina, the world of boomers has literally gone into error 404. Yes, because the good Riccardo Fabbriconi (aka Blanco) had just earned the title of the most hated singer in Italy for destroying a few roses on the Ariston stage. On the other hand, Mina is the one who most of all is brought up by the older public when it comes to underlining this presumed (and presumptuous) theorem of the decline in quality of Italian music. In short, in defiance of the haters, the song is a spectacle, the video too and Blanco’s album is no different. After all, “a pure feeling has no future if I lose you”.
Our review reads:
“This song is the real pearl of the album, and it would be absolutely unfair to give Mina all the credit. On the contrary. Blanco proves himself, vocally and as a personality, absolutely capable of sharing the microphone with a sacred monster of Italian music. The song is beautiful and feels like a musical wedding between two generations. There is the melody, that of pop music. There’s incredible production with galloping bass and piano that gets into your brain. And then there’s all the anger of Gen Z. A little jewel that dispels doubts while we find ourselves humming “For a bit of joy rapapapapapapapà”.
7. Geolier – X CASE ft. Sfera Ebbasta (Visual Video)
