Will The Elder Scrolls 6 be a Microsoft exclusive? Phil Spencer talked about it recently, let’s find out all the details in this dedicated news
With Starfield, Bethesda Game Studios has released its first-ever title as a first-party developer for Xbox, and while the studio will obviously continue to focus on sci-fi RPGs for some time to come, there’s no shortage of excitement for what’s to come After. The Elder Scrolls 6 will be BGS’ next big project, and while it’s still a long way from launch, the masses are still wondering if it too will be an Xbox console exclusive.
And it seems there is still no clear answer on this front. While there has been speculation in the past that The Elder Scrolls 6 will actually skip launch on PlayStation, in a recent interview with Bloomberg, the Xbox boss Phil Spencer indicated that the decision has not yet been made and that the choice of a title exclusively for Xbox is a decision that the company will take on a case-by-case basis, as it has also stated in the past.
The Elders Scrolls 6 in esclusiva per Microsoft, parla Phil Spencer!
Regarding the matter, Phil Spencer recently stated:
We evaluate the games we make on a case-by-case basis. We want to make sure our games are available in many different places: on our Xbox consoles, on PCs, even via the cloud, these games can come to almost any web-enabled device. We’re thinking of millions and millions of gamers who will have access to Starfield and other games from Xbox Game Studios. It’s about giving gamers the choice of how they play and building their own library of games.
As for the release date of The Elder Scrolls 6, the wait for the fantasy RPG, officially announced in 2018, will be long. It recently came out of pre-production and entered full development, although Phil Spencer stated earlier this year that the game is still at least more than 5 years away from launch. This was the latest news regarding The Elder Scrolls 6 and the possibility of it being an exclusive. For further updates from the gaming world, keep tuning in to techgameworld.com.
