L’iPhone pieghevole will have a 9-inch display. But hold back the hot spirits: apparently Apple’s foldable will arrive in 2025, if not even later. In fact, the company would be testing this format to give life to a product that maintains the quality standards that characterize the Cupertino devices and that, at the same time, can meet the expectations of users.
Foldable iPhone: 9-inch display released in 2025
According to the well-known analyst Ming-Chi KuoApple would be actively testing a 9-inch foldable OLED display device. However, this does not mean that the Apple’s first foldable is actually ready. In contrast, the prototype now in Cupertino is used by programmers and engineers to understand what Apple’s foldout should actually look like by correcting, deleting or adding both hardware and software features.
But that is not all. According to Kuo, the foldable iPhone will not be the first foldable device from the American company. In fact, the analyst claims that Apple will focus first on large screens and, only later, on compact ones.
The release date of this elusive iPhone pieghevole? Not until 2025.
I expected Apple to launch a foldable iPhone as soon as 2024 in my reports last year, but now it’s clear this prediction needs to be revised. I predict Apple may launch its first foldable product in 2025 at the earliest, which may be a foldable iPad or a hybrid of iPad & iPhone. https://t.co/HGIDPFvdar

Kuo’s comment follows a report published some time ago by The Elec according to which Apple and LG would be collaborating precisely to give life to an ultra-thin OLED display dedicated to tablets and notebooks.
