Learning to play the guitar is now easier and more intuitive thanks to Visual Note, a Roman startup that has invented a new method of teaching guitar using LEDs. Visual Note is just one of the ten Italian startups present at the South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, inside the Italian pavilion organized by ICE Agency in the Creative Industries Expo.
Visual Note: learn to play guitar via led
The Visual Note device consists of a kind of tape that is applied to the keyboard. Being connected to a device (such as a tablet) and an app that contains the song tablature that you want to learn to play. As the song is played, the LEDs on the keyboard light up, indicating which keys to press. In this way it is possible to learn the chords of a song, but also the riffs and the individual parts.
South by Southwest: le startup italiane all’expo
ICE – the Agency for the promotion abroad and internationalization of Italian companies – has managed to bring a pavilion with 11 Italian companies to the expo of innovative companies organized within the most important US festival linked to creativity for the first time both in the tech field and in independent film and music.
In addition to Visual Note is also present Sounzonea startup from Turin that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to compose original soundtracks by synchronizing images with sounds extracted from its library.
