DELL announces the new Latitude 7030 Rugged Extreme
Following on from last year’s launch – the 12-inch Latitude 7230 Rugged Extreme, the new 7030 Rugged Extreme delivers high durability, security and connectivity. Smart mobility is ensured thanks to extremely low weight and the fully rugged format. But it also turns out to be a versatile and high-performance model, thanks to the IP-65 and MIL-STD 810 classifications. This tablet is in fact designed to withstand falls of up to 1.5 meters and temperature variations from -29° to +63°. And it is also resistant to dust, dirt and water.
To ensure maximum autonomy, DELL has equipped the new tablet with a Dual hot-swappable batteries as an alternative to the internal 36 Whr battery. It can also be equipped with a 12th generation Intel Core i7 processor, integrated Iris LPDDR5 memory up to 32 GB. And to get maximum speed, it supports Wi-Fi 6E with double broadband and also supports 5G.
To complete the fully rugged tablet, the modern TPM 2.0 ControlVault and maximum security systems, together with the 10.1 inch FHD+ (1920 x 1200) display. The panel resists direct sunlight and adapts to the most difficult situations, such as contact with chemical substances. Those who work with dangerous equipment, for example, can benefit from the glove-touch functionalityfor maximum protection.
