Electronic Arts and Maxis are joining forces with the creative-entrepreneur Bretman Rock for the “Find Yourselves” campaign, inviting everyone to discover the different sides of themselves by exploring life without borders in The Sims 4. The game is configured as the ultimate tool for the discovery of one’s personality, where freedom reigns supreme and players have the power to create any version of themselves and discover who they can become – in the game and in real life.

The Sims has a long history that has allowed people to discover and express the different versions of themselves, giving them the freedom to experiment with the Sims they create, the stories they tell, and the worlds they build. For the campaign “Find Yourselves“, The Sims partnered with Bretman Rock, an internet phenomenon with more than 50 million followers who is known for its vibrant personality and hilarious outlook on life, helping gamers embrace the chaos that comes with self-discovery, and connect with ideas, experiences and the many versions of themselves that they cannot yet explore in real life.
Inspired by classic coming-of-age sitcoms, in the “Find Yourselves” campaign, viewers encounter multiple sides of Bretman Rock – teenage goth, sassy dad, maternal chef, excited astronaut and urban cowboy, living together in one big, weird family. , which can only exist in The Sims.
For a limited time, The Sims and Bretman Rock are teaming up with a global talent to help players find their #SimSelves on TikTok. The Hashtag Challenge will feature a customizable filter with a branded effect that allows them to try out different Sims-inspired characters like Pastel Goth or Mermaidcore through augmented reality. When they “reveal” their new Sim, a themed effect will activate, adding the mood of their selected character.
