The developer OnceLost Games officially revealed his first game, The Wayward Realms. The studio is led by Ted Peterson and Julian LeFay, who were both main developers of The Elder Scrolls Arena and The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. Below we present the teaser trailer.
The Wayward Realms, the new game from the former developers of The Elder Scrolls
The Wayward Realms was advertised as “The Grand RPG“: This means that we are faced with a open world with “hundreds or thousands of NPCs”. The game will take place in a called area Archipelago, which is made up of more than a hundred different islands. Players can also expect a lot of story to immerse themselves in.
Fans of the customization they will be happy to know that The Wayward Realms will offer a set of options to make the experience unique and suitable for them. Players will be able to design your own character classes, with “really, really out of the box” options.
These classes will have a great impact on the story, as will the in-game decisions taken by the player. The result should offer an experience very different for each player. The Archipelago will also feature a number of different types of areas to explore, including swamps, mountains, forests and more.
This all sounds great but fans of The Elder Scrolls should keep in mind that The Wayward Realms it won’t be out very soon. The game already has a Steam page but OnceLost Games immediately stated that the page was made “to build a following and spread the word”.
Right now, the game does not have a release date, so those interested will just have to wait patiently for further updates as we learn more. We hope that OnceLost Games offers an experience that matches the team’s past successes.
