Bad news for Apple, which recently tried to integrate AirPods into the Find My Device feature. While the option is useful, it would seem to create quite a few problems for users who want to replace or regenerate the earphones. According to what was reported by some users on the Net, the Refurbished or exchanged Apple AirPods they cannot be seen by the “Find My” option. According to Sunny Mohammad, CEO of R2Cell, Apple earphones “were already difficult to refurbish because they have many small and easily damaged parts.” Therefore, the malfunctioning of the “Find My” option did nothing but persuade the company to avoid re-tracing them. In reality, the situation is less dramatic than it seems. The problem can ultimately be solved by the original owner of the AirPods, by logging them out of their Apple ID before selling them.
